How Invisalign Works
Invisalign clear aligners are an amazing tool to move teeth without braces or wires. After taking a 3D scan of your teeth, Dr. Funk will create a customized plan just for you. This plan is used to make your aligners.
Each aligner has a small amount of movement programmed into it to gradually move your teeth as you change aligners every 1-2 weeks. Our practice uses Invisalign clear aligners because of their superior technology.
Invisalign has been around the longest and has the most clinical research of any aligner company. The clear aligners are removable, allowing you to eat the foods you enjoy with more freedom and less pain.
What to Expect With Invisalign
If Invisalign treatment is right for you, Dr. Funk will start by taking a 3D scan of your mouth. After assessing the scan of your current smile, we’ll create a custom treatment plan for you.
We’ll work with Invisalign to use this treatment plan to craft each of your aligners. Then, it’s time to start working towards that perfect smile!
Life with Invisalign is amazingly simple. Once all of your aligners have been made, you’ll come back to see us for an appointment to get your attachments placed and receive your trays.
While in treatment, you’re free to remove your aligners when eating or brushing your teeth — which also means you’re free to eat what you want, when you want it! This removability and versatility allows for more freedom and less pain, all while working toward that perfect smile you deserve.
